On the evening of the 3rd of November, Lindt Hello said ‘hello’ to 5FM DJ, Fikile “Fix” Moeti as the new face of the Lindt Hello Range at the Maslow Hotel in Sandton. Fix is also featured in the new locally produced TV commercial for the range that was shot on the colourful streets of Bo-Kaap in Cape Town. Adele Ankiewicz, senior product manager at Lindt & Sprüngli South Africa says; “Fix truly embodies the values of Lindt Hello. Announcing their arrival on South African shores with the launch of their Hyde Park store, IKKS hosted a lavish event during which guests enjoyed delicious food amidst magnificent décor. The IKKS collection was displayed on live models that stood upon rotating podiums for the duration of the event, with outfit changes every 15 minutes. The event’s atmosphere was undeniably captivating, and left guests with a memorable introduction to the IKKS brand.

havaianas make your own concept pop-up shop

With the launch of their first Make Your Own concept pop-up shop in Sandton City, Havaianas invited key guests to take part in the experience and customise their summer flip flops. A-list celebrities, media, social media influencers and TV crews such as Vuzu and MTV were amongst those who attended, while event entertainment was provided by Brazilian band, Napalma.

The Gathering was a celebration of all things Superdry, Scotch & Soda and Nudie Jeans as the most coveted pieces from the brands’ AW15 collections were put on display.

The night of Thursday the 30th of April marked the second annual fashion show event, The Gathering, which showcased the AW15 collections of Superdry, Scotch & Soda and Nudie Jeans. Hosted by television personality, Jeannie D, the event took place at the Johannesburg Neighbourgoods Market, amidst the dynamic energy of night-time Braamfontein. Guests included media, bloggers, customers and fans of the brands, as well as names such as Chiano Sky, Da L.E.S, and Stilo Mogolide of Boynbucks.

Guests arrived to a stylish array of cocktails, thanks to the event’s alcohol sponsor, Kettel One and Don Julio. Thirst Bar Services kept the drinks flowing for the remainder of the evening, while resident Neighbourgoods vendors ensured that a delicious selection of food was available for purchase throughout the night.

converse announces top 10 for #gootg 2015

On Friday 4th of September, Converse Sub-Saharan Africa saw the close for submissions into the fourth Converse Get Out Of The Garage 2015 competition. A platform dedicated to encouraging musicians from across South Africa to enter their best tracks to win an unforgettable experience. We’d like to thank the 2015 judges, Catherine Grenfell, Okmalumkoolkat and Darryl Torr, as well as each of the 248 bands and artists who entered. Today, Converse sees the return of Rubber Tracks to South Africa to record the Top 10 finalists, giving each artist or band a world-class single produced by experienced engineers, with the finest instruments and equipment. Without any further delay, here are the top 10 bands/artists for 2015:
